National SEO campaigns require more in-depth reporting and analytics due to the broader range of metrics and the complexity of tracking results on a larger scale.

All these factors contribute to the increased complexity, time, and resources needed for national SEO campaigns, which ultimately leads to higher costs compared to local SEO.
